Pippin

Hello! My name is "How 'Bout Them Apples" but you can call me "Pippin" for short. I'm a Pembroke Welsh Corgi with a MastFUR's Degree in Cuteness. I plan to intern at Blackbird Acupuncture Clinic as the Canine Napping Associate (CNA) to gain socialization and exposure while I work to obtain my AKC Therapy Dog Certification.

 

I nap on my bed most of the day but pop my head up to greet guests as they come and go. I'm very quiet, you may not know I'm here, but when I am able to get away from my work long enough to say "hi", I enjoy belly rubs, face massages, treats, and showing off tricks. I'm a herding dog without anything to herd so I have enrolled in Agility classes in my spare time. I also enjoy obedience training, picking on my older brother (Lando), chasing my human cousins, and chewing on my Dad's drawstrings. 

Fun Facts: I was born in Oklahoma, I have a full sister (Penny) who lives with my Step-Aunt in Minnesota, and my face is mismarked which makes me super unique and adorable.

Courtesy and Safety: Please do not open my kennel door or let me out of the clinic without permission from my Boss. As a Therapy-Dog-In-Training I need to be focused and mindful of my interactions. I also have very specific calls and verbiage that I am learning and need consistency in those. Thank you for understanding!
